The Chery brand was established in 1997, and they have held their position as China’s top passenger car exporter for 21 consecutive years. Greenhous Chery are proud to offer the newest vehicles from the brand, following their entry to the UK market in late 2025. Their current range includes both petrol and hybrid options, offering something for every modern driver.
The TIGGO 7, TIGGO 8 and TIGGO 9 models are all offered as a Super Hybrids. These models feature the Chery-Super Hybrid (CSH) engine, a 1.5L turbo charged direct injection engine with a high thermal efficiency of 44.5%.
The conventional plug-in hybrid is different from the CSH, due to the way transmission is optimised. Chery’s hybrid models combine a high-efficiency petrol engine with a powerful electric motor and advanced DHT (Dedicated Hybrid Transmission). Pairing these technologies ensures instant torque is provided for city driving, and motorway journeys are given new power. Even if you don’t plug in your Chery Super Hybrid, it still performs as a self-charging hybrid, losing EV-only range and optimum efficiency but retaining safety and smoothness.
